Antyodaya Yoga Studio

HYPOCRISY ALERT!! The ongoing pandemic revealed what Antyodaya is actually all about. I used to be one of the most faithful customers of Antyodaya, as its been almost 1.5 years I have been doing yoga with them, and ironically, the most unfortunate thing happened with me. I had enrolled for an entire year, for my mother and myself, which means I had to pay for the whole year. Now, since the unforeseen lock-down was forced the yoga institute was shut for around 4.5 months. To my surprise, they created an overnight policy that there will be only 1 month's extension against the loss of 4.5 months. Also, since they being the costliest yoga center in Ahmedabad, as per my knowledge, am on the verge of losing a huge amount of money (approx 10k) because of the 3 months loss which they're forcing us to bear. Also, when we spoke to the DIRECTOR they were making us count about the rent they paid in this lock-down and only the people who has paid prior will have to suffer. When given the suggestion that there could be an option for the online classes to which the response was you should have suggested?? At the end I am being challenged to go for any LEGAL action I want to. This is a big slap to LOYALTY! Please think before enrolling, people! 1. Why were false commitments made by the staff of Antyodaya that the people who have paid will get their extension once the studio runs as per govt guidelines? 2. Why the people who have paid prior have to suffer? Did Antyodaya go to ask for funds from the people whose membership was completed in March, 2020? 3. Did you take the consent of the people before enforcing this policy? and that too overnight once the studio was already open on 5th Aug? -> The company claims to be hit badly during the lock-down but surprisingly the same company advertised for the personal class even when the government did not permit. -> Antyodaya Directors did not know that they can offer classes to the people who have taken the annual membership already but they knew to run the unofficial-personal classes.
